The whole experience was very positive (apart from the initial wait to get the treatment). The operation took place on the date scheduled and at the time of the appointment with no major delays. The Consultant was very personable and great at putting one at ease. It was not a procedure I was looking forward to but it turned out to be a lot better than expected. It took no time at all. The scar has healed amazingly well and, less than 3 months after the operation, there is hardly any sign of it. A Nurse who dressed the wound the day after the operation, was most impressed with the Consultant's handywork! He even made me take a photograph of it so I could show people.......! I have just had the follow-up appointment and all is well and no further treatment is needed.

Day surgery unit friendly, efficient and on time. Everything explained carefully. Surgeon (as where the nurses) was very friendly, put me at ease before, during and after the procedure.

It was good to see how this doctor quickly established a friendly relationship and put me at ease. Without undue fuss he proficiently performed a successful operation. It was pleasing to see him again at a routine follow up visit when he was able to confirm the operation had been a complete success. It is interesting that he remembered how to pronounce a difficult French surname and was willing to spend a little time regarding some other worries that I was having.

The treatment I received was first class. Mr Williams and his staff were excellent. The only problem is the waiting time but that is no fault of the surgical team. Thank you all very much for a successful result

I found the whole experience professional and friendly, while being very nervous i found Dr Williams informative and polite and his explanation of the procedure did actually put me at ease. It was in total contrast to my GP who was arrogant and rude he told me not to expect free cosmetic surgery and gave me cream to apply on my face, no wonder people do not go for an early diagnosis. We could do with a lot more guys like Dr Andrew Williams and i know we have in the NHS. I would like to thank him and his team for giving up their weekends to help others.
